GWW is excited to introduce to the professional community our premier Postpartum Mood Disorders Consultation Services!

Postpartum Depression has been documented to affect as much as 10% to 12% of new mothers. Numbers, in some cases, have been recorded as high as 15%…that’s almost one fifth of new mothers finding themselves unexpectedly overwhelmed by negative emotion, feelings, behaviors, and depressing (sometimes harmful) thoughts related to the existence and care of their newborn babies! The occurrence of Postpartum Blues, the lesser, usually self-resolving identifier of the Postpartum Mood Disorders, is believed to be common in as much as 50% of new mothers.
Establishing or revising a PPD Protocol in your practice is easier than you think. The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have further established the importance of such a standard. We would love to consult with your team to introduce the benefits of a PPD Protocol and the resources that will take your level of patient care one step further.
